The costs of the Trans Mountain Oil Pipeline Project continue to climb, requiring ever increasing subsidies from the government. The current cost estimate for the project is $30.9 billion but will likely require billions more to reach completion.

No wonder banks want to remain unnamed in this loan. “As of December, Trans Mountain was $23.3 billion in debt. In the 4.5 yrs between the time the pipeline was bought by Canada & the end of 2022, the pipeline company has sunk 'over $18 billion' & says it still needs more money.”
