#NanoFF A 🛰️joins its twin satellite NanoFF B as TUBSAT 29 in orbit 🥳 We just had the first contact over our Berlin ground station 📡 Satellite is in good health, antennas are deployed and all subsystem are online. Beacon has now been deactivated to save power. TU Berlin

Apparently we don't need to downlink and process our images by ourselves anymore - saves a ton of time to invest in our new missions 🥰 The full extent of the maneuvers (TUBIN doesn't wobble!) will become visible when the other half of this set is downloaded. Well done! 🫡

To stay ahead of Aang254 (🦋 aang23.satdump.org) here's a #TUBIN video that was taken last week and couldn't be sniffed from a single pass 😉 Have a good weekend everyone!

Happy 15th anniversary #BEESAT! Launched in 2009, operated until 2013, recovered in 2024. This morning we successfully powered up the sun sensors and magnetometers for the first time in over 10 years! Telemetry looks good so far as we continue checking the state of the satellite.

First light for BEESAT-1 🛰️📷 In the past 2 months, the camera payload of #BEESAT-1 has been successfully commissioned, 15 years after launch. Attitude control is currently limited to the magnetorquers pending reaction wheel tests, but nevertheless we captured some nice images!
