Now that the celebrations are over and I finally have time to make this post, I am happy to announce that I defended last Tuesday and have a fancy schmancy PhD to show for it! I can't believe my 3.5 years in Dallas zoomed by so fast and it's already time for the next adventure.

As I begin this new chapter of my life at USF, I'd like to close out my previous with a big thank you to @Gassensmith lab for being such an integral part of my foundation as a (hopefully) future scientist! Special thank you's to my amazing mentors Sneha Kumari, PhD and Thomas Howlett! ❤️

Finally submitted my last first-author paper from my PhD :')

Had an excellent time presenting and networking today at the North Texas Biomedical Engineering Symposium!

It's almost poetic that I get to share this work on the day of my doctoral hooding — my fifth first-author paper is now out in Infectious Diseases! Here, we report two new membrane protein tuberculosis antigens and explore their immunogenicity. Read here: pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10…
