Earlier today, another Toronto Police officer was injured on duty after being stabbed responding to a call for service. I am relieved to report that the officer is in stable condition and both he and the suspect are in hospital. The SIU is investigating.

As we end the week & prepare for the weekend,I commend our officers for their resilience. Two officers were injured while serving & protecting in separate incidents this week.Fortunately both will recover, but this is an example of the risks our officers face keeping Toronto safe.
