Test Track 3.0 might just be the schism needed to set EPCOT Center back on track. It's a hit.

The whole system is slowly imploding: - They don't know how to make enough money off of streaming - They allowed cable to die by being greedy with pricing - They're re-inserting ads after years of consumers getting used to ad-free programming But they're genius businessmen!

I realize this is free media preview but imagine paying $149 per person to enter and the only new thing is a character meet and greet update and the wait is just under 4 hours. It's nuts.

One difference between Parks then vs. now is how they weren't trying to be cool and hip back then, they were trying to build world-class experiences that would try and coax guests from visiting, say, Europe, a national monument, Vegas, etc. Now it just needs to be Instagrammable.

MuppetVision. Tom Sawyer Island (and Rivers of America/Liberty Belle). Dinosaur. Fountain of Nations/Innoventions/Communicore. Might not have done the numbers they want, but boy did people love them. And don't be fooled, putting money to freshen them up was always an option.

So, we've seen some new lands built over the last ten years. Something I've noticed is whether or not they allow (in the budget) the on-staff artists to do the finishing touches or not. Spaces where the final touches were done by the construction contractors are.. not great.
