Peer conferences during our writers workshop focusing on asking questions to guide the discussion and get the feedback we need as a writer

The class enjoyed their trip to IKEA with a budget of $5000 or ¥25000 to spend on furnishing their new apartments. Great way to practise rounding in a real life context with links to budgeting!

Goal setting preparation in Grade 5 for student led conferences has begun. Think these kids have a pretty good understanding of what a goal is!

Interesting ideas about federal and provincial taxes arose from our UOI discussion about different levels of governments responsibilities. This reflection made my day!
