Welcome back to our 7th graders, fresh from their incredible adventure at The Barrier Islands in South Carolina! 🌊🏄‍♀️ From catching waves and reeling in fish to diving into the area’s rich history and fascinating ecology, they’ve done it all! 🌟👏

We officially welcomed our first graders and new students into their TLS Families! 🎉 💚 The Naming Ceremony was full of joy and excitement as students in Grades 1-8, along with our faculty and staff, spent the afternoon building friendships and celebrating together.

🧬🔬8th graders had an insightful lab extracting DNA from strawberries, learning about heredity & life’s building blocks. Geneticist Bethany Kelly, a TLC parent, discussed her work in inherited cancers & the role of genetic counselors, helping students learn about genetics.

What an incredible Fall Festival 2024! From face painting to conquering the rock wall, feeding adorable animals, and so much more, there was festive fun all around! A huge thank you to everyone who made this event a success!🍂🎉

✏️🌟TLC 5th graders math fun with “Building My Birthday Dream” project, inspired by our one-school book Someone Builds the Dream. Using a budget, they planned a bday trip, making decisions on transportation, meals, & more! This project boosted math & real-world planning skills!

🩺 We had a special visit in 1st grade from Dr. Miller, who taught students about stethoscopes and how doctors prepare for the OR. Students loved dressing up and learning about the OR💚

Our Fourth Annual Turkey Trot! Grades 1-8 reunited with their school families on Friday to trot through challenges, write notes of gratitude, and play games—all while creating unforgettable memories together. There’s no doubt about it—family time truly is the best time! 💚🦃

Our campus was brimming with joy on Friday as we celebrated Grandfriends Day! It was a heartwarming day with special performances, classroom visits, and laughter-filled activities—each making for a grand, memorable celebration! Check out the link in our bio for more pictures!✨💚

The Learning Center middle school students explore morphology—the study of prefixes, roots, and suffixes! By breaking words down into manageable parts, they’re making reading and spelling less overwhelming and more fun. 📚✨

✨💚TLS families are spreading cheer by writing holiday cards to service members & elderly residents in care facilities. Older students helped younger students craft warm greetings! Creating memories filled with gratitude and kindness. 💌

It’s almost winter break, and we’re bursting with festive cheer! From reindeer footprint art and constructing candy houses to Mrs. Gingerbread’s visit, crafting holiday gratitude cards, rehearsing for One Candle, and so much more, there’s no shortage of creativity and joy! ✨❄️
