I'd care not one iota about arguments about 'stranded assets' if energy markets were ubiquitously designed to impose the risk of that obsolete investment only on investors -- but too often in the regulated-utility landscape, it ain't so.

Isn't what Secretary Yellen complaining about here -- the widescale subsidization of domestic green industries -- the centerpiece of the Biden administration's accomplishments? I'm genuinely confused how we can lodge any honest complaint about another government doing the same.

This legislation, inaccurately labeled a 'consumer protection' measure, would make it impossible to do business in Maryland and is contrary to the state's own goals of promoting clean energy and business investment. Kudos to Constellation for calling this out.
