Last Friday night, the 7th and 8th grade TMS Band performed with the THS Thundering Horns Band. They played in the stands for the first half of the game and then watched the high school band perform their halftime show. Way to go TMS Band!

Fall Dance on Friday for Tarkington Middle School students. Students must leave campus and return at 5pm.

Tarkington Middle School students researched information and performed a commercial persuading their teacher, Mrs. Fryar, why she should pick their planet to move to. Venus sounds amazing this time of year! Great job TMS students!

Tarkington Middle School held their last football pep rally of the year yesterday. Although the game was cancelled due to inclement weather, we still had a chance to celebrate! This pep rally was extra special…we celebrated our selfless, caring, hardworking teachers!

Tarkington Middle School welcomed district administration, representatives from the Region 4 Educational Service Center and TEA to observe a demonstration pertaining to observation feedback and coaching. It was a great opportunity to showcase the great things Going on at TMS.

Last night, our 8th grade cheerleaders cheered for the last time as cheerleaders at TMS. They were celebrated and commended for doing such a great job all season. Coach Ellis, thank you for all of your hard work and dedication with these young ladies.

Rice University hosted some outstanding Tarkington Middle School students for their Rice University Student For a Day event. All TMS students attending this event scored in the 95th percentile on STAAR the previous year. We are extremely proud of you!
