Check out our latest Bi chem work on ChemRxiv: doi.org/10.26434/chemr… Big effort by Tyler feat. Tamina Kirsch, Jacqui Mayho, Michael Mccarvell, Toren Hynes, M.Sc. stands with 🇺🇦 as Торен Хайнс, Karlee Bamford covering synthesis, spectroscopy, DFT, & catalysis. Collab with Chris Kozak, PhD 🫐👨🔬🇵🇱🇨🇦 and Jason Masuda (he/him). Dalhousie Chemistry
Really excited to have this out - a year and a half of work and my first paper in grad school #MyFirstChemSci ! Big thanks to everyone involved, especially undergrads Tamina Kirsch Michael Mccarvell and Jacqui Mayho who made huge contributions!
📢🚨Congrats to our NSERC / CRSNG PhD student Joe Bedard on winning PLACE GLOBALLY at the Falling Walls competition in Berlin today!!! He initiated our PN cage materials chemistry and it's great to see his work appreciated on a worldwide stage!! Dalhousie Chemistry Dalhousie News CBC Nova Scotia
Our review on geometric constraints in the p-block is now online! Learned a lot while putting this together and spent far more time on the figures than I would like to admit Saurabh Chitnis Chem Soc Rev (pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art…)
🎉Exciting news! 🎉Our group hits a milestone this month, turning 1️⃣!🥳What better way to celebrate than with the publication of our first paper in Chemical Science ? Dive into the details here: pubs.rsc.org/en/Content/Art… #MyFirstChemSci #NewPi
It’s an honour to be selected for the Dal Doctoral Thesis Award! Although it should go without saying, massive thanks to Saurabh Chitnis and everyone in the lab and department, past and present!
Really happy to see this out - a great example of applying simple concepts taught at the undergrad level to explain a complex question using an easy to understand model! It was also a great oppurtunity for Tamina Kirsch and I to hone our computational chemistry skills 😎
This work is now out in Chemistry! Congrats Tamina Kirsch! Together with a previous study on geometric variations, we hope a fuller picture emerges of main group pincer ligand coordination. Dalhousie Chemistry Geometrics: bit.ly/pincergeometri… Steric/Electronics: bit.ly/steroelectroni…
