Last week, 5B focused on ‘V’ for vocabulary and looked up, discussed and found the meaning of unfamiliar words. They wrote these on post it notes and shared them with others. They’re also trialling their new magnetic scrabble letters to create ambitious vocabulary!

Happy ! Here at World Book Day, we love bookshops! They have a special place in communities and give children choice in what they read. Children can also come away with great personal recommendations. Why do you ?

Year 6’s ‘Bushtucker Trial’ to introduce their Rainforest topic was great fun last week! They were met by an explorer, leading them to taste delicious delicacies and create the front cover of their class text out of woodland materials. 🍁🍃🧭🪵 Talbot Heath School
