When ESPN was in the midst of it's meteoric rise, Mike was the voice of many of the network's biggest events. Sad to hear of his passing.

The Rockies are currently headed for a 30-132 season. Last year's W. Sox set a new MLB futility record, ending up 81 games under .500 And, another one to watch - the 2018 O's finished 61GB of Boston. So, depending on the rest of the NL West, the Rox could destroy that mark too.

Seems like tonight is the night for Gabe Landeskog to return to the Colorado Avalanche . Only 8 of his teammates tonight, were on the ice with him in his last game - when they won the 2022 Stanley Cup. 3 years is a long time - especially in sports.

My math says…if the Denver Broncos stay at #20 in the 1st Round tonight…they’ll be picking at about 8:30. That’d be in the 1st quarter of the Denver Nuggets game. I think it would be good karma if the Nugs game was in a Taco Bell commercial when the Broncos made their pick!

Chris, I own several cars - and most of them are very expensive - should I put all of them in may very large garage, or have them shipped to a more benign climate until things calm down here??

Closing in on the Denver Broncos 1st Round pick…and, with what has already happened, I’m hearing they’re targeting “pretty good athlete” who is “pretty much available”. With a “meh” motor, an average to middling football IQ.

It is still April…the Rox are already 9-1/2 games out of *4th place in the NL West. On the road this season, they’ve only made the opponent bat in the bottom of the 9th 3 times. Their current pace would see them post a road record of 5-76 this season.

Sad to report that Steve Harms has passed away. He was a very popular sportscaster here in Denver in the mid-80’s & 90’s. We spent a lot of time together - covering the same stories for different stations. He was always a lot of fun to be around, and a very good broadcaster. RIP
