Despite having cerebral palsy and dystonia, the beast has never let his conditions define or limit him. He didn't listen to the doctors' prognosis and instead, he pushed himself to prove them wrong and continues to do so today. As tough as it was on us all, I miss the journey.

The Beast is a little over seven weeks out from his first competition of the year in Cumming Georgia, on 1 June. He is still defying all medical odds with his left arm. As you will see, he is bench-pressing on the Smith machine with both arms. Proving them all wrong! 💪🏻

The Beast was expected to spend his life in a wheelchair, but what the doctors didn't account for was, the Beast’s determination to prove them wrong! “Never give-up' means believing in yourself and trying one more time when you feel like quitting whenever you are facing failure.”

The Beast’s left side was affected by a stroke that left him with left-side Hemiplegia (a form of Cerebral Palsy) and dystonia. Basically Hunter has had minimal use of his left arm. His new trainer and coach, told him, you will use that left arm by strapping it to the bar. 💪🏻💪🏻
