It’s a good thing for college sports when this grifter is disappointed

The irony isn’t lost on me that lawyers who once advocated for student athletes rights and equality are now pushing “reform” that would gut much of Division I in favor of mostly P5 programs. Let’s not pretend this is about anything other than money.

This season has been a disaster partly due to injuries but there are some pieces here for La Salle

So this be incredible if La Salle pulls this off

La Salle definitely needs some pieces and additional support but I like a lot of what I see from Darris Nichols and staff. I have to confirm but it looks like La Salle’s injury issues were some of the worst in the country.

First order of business for whomever the new AD is: Get Martelli on the phone, apologize on behalf of the university, and make it right on Hawk Hill. Name the floor at Hagan after Phil at the very least. #THWND

Things just got a lot better and more interesting on Hawk Hill. They will have a new HC as long as they move swiftly with the AD search.

The next AD at SJU should 1000% honor Phil Martelli in some kind of meaningful way and I bet he or she does.

We will see if Mason can get back in this but they’ve been skating by a lot during conference play and it’s been showing lately.

Still can’t believe this is what UMass signed up for

GW has so much talent but they’re a different team nearly every time they get on the floor. It’s baffling their record is 14-11.

Tony Skinn is clearly a very good coach but tonight is not his night. Mason is all out of sorts on both ends. Don’t want to discount GW play but Mason fundamentally is a mess.

If SJU was smart, they would hire Bryant’s Bill Smith as their AD. Under him, they’ve had huge facility upgrades, have one of the best NIL funds in the America East, hired Phil Martelli and just happens to be an alumni of Colgate
