On Tuesday, Task Force on Trump Assassination Attempt released its final report. The 180 pages of findings clearly show Secret Service’s failures in planning, execution, and leadership in Butler. What is now also clear is that the Secret Service is an organization that is in desperate need of wholesale reform.

🚨Part 3 of 3: Accountability🚨 The American people have lost faith in our federal agencies. The only way to restore that faith is for these agencies to provide the information Congress is requesting, so we can deliver the answers the American people deserve.

On July 13, radios faltered, agents had to text each other, and critical info never reached those closest to Trump until it was too late. The USSS needs a clear chain of command, unified command posts, and a reliable communication plan. This failure must never happen again.
