Hey, ya'll! It's been a while :) You already know it's #MentalHealthMonth EVERY month for me. I've tried to practice what I preach by taking some time away and trying to grow in #grace, #leadership, and self-reflection and giving more #grace to myself and others. Hbu? ❤️

I've been scrolling through the interwebs lately and noticed a pattern. We all want to be understood, but sometimes, that's a tall order. Let's embrace those who try. Some days I'm just grateful for the barista who gets my name right :)

In 2019 I got to experience #Juneteenth in Galveston, TX. Who knew after decades of advocacy, months later, it would be a federal holiday. It's a commemoration as well as a celebration. We can do both despite the recent commercialism of it all :) 🤎💛 CC: bit.ly/3xZMMuk

This reminder helped guide my interpretation of the behavior of others. How about when we apply the same principle to ourselves? When's the last time you told someone you appreciate them pointing out one of your prickly parts?

Sometimes we read too much into other's actions. Most are too busy trying to make it to the next thing to pay us any mind! I've been working on adding a lens of #grace to my thoughts. Not always successful, but I'm SO much more aware of the opportunities to practice. 💛

A quick mid-day reminder to extend some #grace to yourself: Healing and improvement takes time. Ask for help. We all need it. Accepting help is not a sign of weakness; it actually takes more courage.💛 #WellBeing #WorkplaceWellness #BELight #MentalHealth #MentalHealthAwareness

We're surrounded by huge amounts of change. I've been reflecting on how we best show up for it. For it to stick, we've got to show up with as much authenticity as possible. Accepting where we have room to grow. Voicing where clarity is needed. It makes us more HUMAN #leaders. 💛
