We had an incredible day, full of fabulous Fall Halloween fun, that started with a visit from two of the best Hubbard PE and Michele Megna MaryAHubbardSchool.

This is what being caught up and wrapped up in the Halloween spirit and festivities looks and sounds like! A spook-tac-u-lar day in K-C MaryAHubbardSchool.

We are excited and proud to have one of our own recognized by our lunch/recess aide at today’s Hubbard School Pride Assembly for being respectful! Way to go!! Your integrity is amazing - our goal is to make what you have - contagious MaryAHubbardSchool

Shine K-C Shine! Making green, go, good choices showed Michele Megna that you are responsible and ready to paint! Your individual choices impact the entire class. Way to go and glow! Accountability & Ownership MaryAHubbardSchool

L 👀 k closely and sketch what you see by focusing on the details: wonder, question and discuss. Enormous THANK YOU to Dr. P and her microscopes and incredible slides & MaryAHubbardSchool for sharing an amazing video to enhance our learning and understanding.

It’s almost that time…getting into the holiday spirit inside the classroom as we eagerly await this week’s HubbardPTO Turkey 🦃 Walk MaryAHubbardSchool.

As a classroom community, on Election Day, Ss voted for their favorite Star ⭐️ Book. Ss considered their options, waited on line, marked a ballot and cast their vote. The votes were tallied and double checked and the final result: Harry the Dirty Dog! MaryAHubbardSchool

Book Fair MaryAHubbardSchool is warm, welcoming and wonderful! Kudos to all the superheroes: Hubbard Library Media Center, HubbardPTO and family volunteers, Principal, teachers and students for continuing to embrace, celebrate and support reading, books and Tommy Strong Foundation Inc..

Names are important! As mathematicians, Ss built their own name stick with connecting cubes and stickers, then compared their name to classmates to see whose was larger than, shorter than and the same as their own. MaryAHubbardSchool

Grab, count and order. Working together, each member of the team grabbed some connecting cubes. Who has the most? Fewest? Compare, discuss and show how you know, using colored pencils or crayons. MaryAHubbardSchool @Inv3_Math

What can shapes become? Using paper, crayons or colored pencils, students created something beyond a basic shape. Students also used Play-Doh to form a variety of 2-D shapes, focusing on the number of sides and vertices each space has. MaryAHubbardSchool

Profile of a Ramsey Graduate: K-C’s version of the 4c’s plus life skills in action outside in the corral MaryAHubbardSchool: critical thinking, communication, collaboration & creativity mixed with lots of laughter.

K-C gobbled up another fantastic fall day ! Students had a blast watching the number of steps increase on their pedometers at the Turkey 🦃 Walk. Shout out HubbardPTO

Mmmmmm 🥧! We are ready for Thanksgiving. Our slices of pumpkin pie, with a dollop of whipped cream, look and smell delicious. We are grateful to our K-C families for spending time, providing a holiday storybook and goody bag. MaryAHubbardSchool

Geoboards, rubber bands and creativity = shapes, shapes and more shapes! MaryAHubbardSchool

Here’s to our terrific Principal Pina, some sensational students and their colorful turkeys! Happy Thanksgiving to all! MaryAHubbardSchool
