A lifetime of remarkable service to the profession gets a lifetime achievement award. TCOM’s Dr. Lisa Nash received the 2024 AOGME Lifetime Achievement Award for her decades of work for the osteopathic profession and graduate medical education. Congratulations Dr Nash! 👏

#TCOM students are helping to create a national standard. The first set of students participated in the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners C3DO capstone clinical competency exam. This collaboration is helping to create a national standard for osteopathic medical student performance in clinical skills. 👏

Not one but two recent #TCOM graduates are being elevated to Chief Residents. Class of 2022 graduate Dr. Patrick Feng is the upcoming chief at Medical City Healthcare Family Medicine Program, while Class of 2020 graduate Dr. Annelise Kutzler is the OBGYN chief at BSWH Fort Worth Residency .👏👏

The day has arrived, the big event is here, the total…wait, we mean the Pediatric Palooza! #TCOM students teamed up with UNTHSC College of Pharmacy students for a day of cases & skills assessments on pediatric patients in our @UNTHSC Sim Lab. Fantastic collaboration! #Eclipse2024

The totals are in and it was an extraordinary Match season for TCOM’s Class of 2024. #TCOM students had a placement rate of 99.6%, into 18 different specialties with 66% percent matching in primary care and 67% staying in Texas. Impressive statistics across the board, great job!

#TCOM and HSC Department of Physical Therapy students worked side-by-side to learn various patient transfer methods. Our DREAM interest group gained hands-on experience with wheelchair use, gait belts, & various transfer scenarios. The collaborative environment at @UNTHSC is making everyone better!👏

Another recent #TCOM graduate is being elevated to Chief Resident for the 2024-25 academic year. Class of 2022 alumna Dr. Jordyn Johnson was named the Emergency Medicine Chief Resident at Lutheran General/UIC in Chicago. We are incredibly proud of her sensational work! 👏👏
