Julie Moore I’m sure that was part of it! Also the script was 1,000 pages at one point, a typhoon destroyed some of the sets and costumes, the leading man (Harvey Keitel) was replaced, and his replacement (Martin Sheen) had a heart attack. There was more, that’s just off the top of my head…

I believe those scenes belong in this film. I think we can all agree it is gorgeous though ^PG #TCMParty

If you have seen Hearts of Darkness, you know that both the Playboy Bunnies scene and this French colonists scene had index cards and thus had to be filmed. They might not “make sense” but the Vietnam War didn’t either ^PG #TCMParty

Frederic Forrest was memorable in nearly everything he did. Coppola cast him frequently, but he also had major roles in movies like The Rose. When he passed away last year I wish he'd gotten more recognition. His Wikipedia page is 'unverified' and scant. #TCMParty #ApocalypseNow
