What a day to play baseball. COVID is over baby! In opening day TCMABL action, Bombers lose the rust right away, score 11 en route to an 11-2 victory in game one. Game two has Bombers hanging on to a 6-5 lead in the bottom of the 4th.

Score remains to the end of the game, Bombers take game two 6-5. Tigers and Bombers games continue to be a sweep or nothing. Good to be back TCMABL!

Very slow start and the Bombers drop first game 12-3. Lyons obsidian sharp in game 2 with 11 Ks and two hits in a turn around 10-1 win. Bombers head into the break still chasing .500 at 5-7. Happy 4th baseball dudes. TCMABL

Positive takeaway from game 1: when you're 23, you can break your wrist, come back after 4 weeks, and pitch your best outing of the season. Mike "Spongebones" Richter goes 4 solid innings and left the game with a 2-1 lead. Bombers melt down a bit afterwards. 13-4 final game 1.

Lyons goes the distance in a much less lopsided game 2. @DeepDish34 puts the Bombers in front with a 2 run shot in the 5th, and 4 consecutive singles to start the 6th lead to a 5 run inning and a 7-3 win in game 2.

Busy day on the basepaths for the Bombers, scoring a franchise record 23 runs. Gengler goes 4 for 4 with 4 runs scores, Connolly swipes 5 bases, and Richter picks up his first Bombers W on the mound.

Bombers take game 2 in an historic day by Chris Lyons. 16 Ks in 7 innings, a franchise record, including an immaculate 4th inning. Bombers take game 2 11-3. Connolly finishes with 7 steals, Gengler with 6 hits and 5 runs scored.

Offense overcomes a few rough innings, Lyons bears down with 11 Ks, and the Bombers take a game against the Rams for the first time in team history. Weekend split keeps the Bombers at .500. S. Shoemaker tallies 4 hits on the day, and John Con still scorching, with 6 of his own.

Hard to tweet with a dead phone. Bombers split with the Saints. Runners LOB and 5 unearned runs in game one were a recipe for a loss. Defense, pitching, and 9 hits spelled a win in game two. Lyons on pace for 11 wins, Sutherland on pace for one more double this decade.

Offense a little anemic in game 1 for a 10-1 loss, but bats wake up for 8 runs in game 2. Lyons works around a bases loaded none out sweat to preserve the one out win. 9 Ks for the kid on the day. Gabriel with a pair of doubles, Yeakel with a big 2 out 2 RBI single.

Games of the week deliver a solid two game showcase. Ducks take game 1 8-4, stranding a cornucopia of Bombers baserunners. Bounce back in game 2, with Lyons dealing 13 K's in what I think is one of his best outings of the year. Offense wakes up for 9 runs en route to a 9-1 win.

Another game of the week, another great 2 game set. Legends stymie the Bombers offense in game one, but the bats wake up in game 2. Drama in the 7th with the Legends scoring 5 to tie, but Lyons turns a frown upside down and walks off with a single in the bottom.

SCHEDULE UPDATE: Due to wet and unplayable field conditions this morning at Ali Magnet, the 10am games will now be starting at 11am and the afternoon games will begin at 2pm.

Bombers defeat nature and just barely get a 5 inning game 2 in before being kicked out by the Minnetonka VFW team. Pair of fun games in the mud and the Bombers steal a pair from the Tomcats.
