Statement of Support for Gaza Encampment: UMich Faculty and Staff for Justice in Palestine stands in solidarity with the students of the Gaza encampment on the @UMich campus and others across the U.S. as they attempt to keep focus and attention on ending the ongoing genocide in Gaza and Occupied Palestine.

Administrators would rather do this than listen to their students' demands to act against genocide.

The Student Movement has always been correct; we have won justice in the name of Civil Rights, Vietnam, and the fall of South African Apartheid.

Look at these pictures. This isn’t Gaza. This is the West Bank—collective punishment and destruction of infrastructure even in excess of what Palestinians are used to seeing. People are saying this is worse than they saw during the Second Intifada.
