It was a wonderful evening. Diolch am eich cwmni, a diolch Peredur Owen Griffiths AS/MS am drefnu.

It was a real pleasure to welcome Peredur Owen Griffiths AS/MS at Dar Ul-Isra yesterday and share the Iftar together amongst members of the local community. Also, many thanks for sponsoring the Iftar and for the lovely speech. #Wales #Cymru #Ramadan

Honoured and thrilled to speak at the Annual Iftar Cardiff City FC Stadium yesterday evening, alongside other emenint speakers including the First Minister of Wales Vaughan Gething. Thank you Dean Pymble and SRtRC Wales | Cymru 🏴 team for the excellent organisation. #Ramadan #Wales

Some inspiring stories from the Welsh Muslims nominated today at the St. David awards. Muslim Doctors Cymru were nominated for a second year running for the ‘Critical Worker’ category, and Mo Alamgir nominated in the Community Spirit category. Congratulations! #welshmuslims

Important event today at Plaid Cymru 🏴 conference, hearing about the contribution of Muslims to Welsh civil society. From community health hubs, to helping make public services accessible in multiple languages, there was much to learn from today. Diolch i bawb 🏴

2nd day of the Plaid Cymru 🏴 conference, and what a brilliant day! Muslim Doctors Cymru Syrian Welsh Society and Plaid BME chair Abyd Quinn Aziz عبيد عزيز joined me in an inspirational event. Then Husam Zomlot gave a powerful speech followed by the passing of a equally strong motion supporting Palestine.

It was a great pleasure to attend the annual conference of Plaid Cymru 🏴 and share my experience with Syrian Welsh Society on tackling social and health inequalities and empower refugees. Many thanks to Peredur Owen Griffiths AS/MS for the invite and to Sioned Williams AS/MS 🏴 & Heledd Fychan AS/ MS 🏴 for their support.

It was an honour and privilege to hold an event in the Senedd in conjunction with Syrian Welsh Society, led by the inspirational Dr Mohammad Alhadj Ali. We welcomed the fall of the Assad dictatorship and looked to a brighter future that will hopefully be free of bloodshed and filled with peace.
