A big congratulations and thank you to L6 student Gervene Teoh, who designed and entered this fab Christmas design for the 2022 PSC Christmas Card Competition! We had some wonderful entries but Gervene's festive take on the PSC logo was a winner!

A big congratulations to James Guy and Amelie Lawrence, the Geography Department's first ever Geography Termly Award Winners! The award is given termly to one upper sixth and one lower sixth Geography student, nominated by their teachers for outstanding effort.

We were delighted to open the doors of PSC's brand spanking new Carville Building to our students last week! The building features twelve new bright and airy classrooms, and as you can tell by these students' faces, they were very impressed with the space!

Last night we launched this year's HE+ programme, which we run in collaboration with the @cambridge.University. We had 500 enthusiastic students from 12 schools and colleges on site, for the first in a series of evening lectures and masterclasses.

Today is Holocaust Memorial Day, a time to remember the millions of people murdered during the Holocaust, under Nazi Persecution and in the genocides which followed in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur. This year's theme for #HMD2023 is 'Ordinary People'. #holocaustmemorialday

It's Time to Talk Day 2023! Our wonderful Hub Team are encouraging students and staff to get involved and make space for conversations about mental health. The Hub's Wellbeing Ambassadors and staff are hosting a Tea and Talk session - with drinks, cakes, games, space to chat.

Recently, 17 students who are part of Kamuronko Team organised a quiz night and raffle for family, friends, students and staff. We were so impressed that they managed to raise £1,284 - a huge well done to Team Kamuronko, supporting Project Embabzi - projectembabazi.org.uk/about

Last month our Law students traveled to London to watch Agatha Christie's London Witness for the Prosecution. It was an excellent performance where students experienced some gripping courtroom drama in a unique production set against the backdrop of London County Hall!
