Women make up the vast majority of underpaid/unpaid workers in the home and at the work place Syme Woolner we celebrate #IWD2023 as we join in the struggle for unrecognized, and underpaid work-- walking the long road to economic equity.

Ontario Place is an increasingly important green space for our city. Determining it’s future must be open and accountable. Yesterday, our committee decided to stop an immediate land swap, to continue the planning process and for Torontonians to be able to make their voice heard.

Our entire health care system depends on timely homecare to keep residents safe and healthy at home in the community - these faces are the solution to the health care crisis - but are often the most neglected teams. #FundCareAtHome ocsa.on.ca/puttingpeoplef…

This is a terrifying reality, we need safe injection sites and supports. Syme Woolner continues to provide harm reduction kits, we do outreach and work with our partners, but we do not have a safe injection site in our community and nothing in the inner suburbs.
