The Stars of Avalon. Photo taken on Glastonbury Tor last night. As usual I am rubbish at knowing exactly what I am capturing in the night sky but I really love being up there at night and we were the only ones up there too.

Gateway to Angels was this morning's view from Glastonbury Tor. It was an ethereal start to the day from what I think is the most magical place on earth.

How do you walk a witch path? You walk with an expectation of moving through feral magics, navigating enchantment. You walk knowing your route is through an ecosystem of spirits. Each step is taken with an intent to encounter wonder. – #EmilyCBanting, 1982 #Witchcraft

Beautiful flowers, so kindly brought by visitors to ⁦Althorp⁩ yesterday. Althorp’s open in July & August each year, thanks to an 1992 arrangement with the UK Government. So strange that the Althorp season therefore begins 1 July - Diana’s birthday - & ends 31 August.

Today, on the anniversary of his passing, we remember Professor John Ronald Reuel Tolkien. Thank you for the light in dark places, and for reminding us there's some good in this world worth fighting for ❀️
