One of the bittersweet things about growing old is realizing how mistaken you were when you were young. As a young political leftist, I saw the left as the voice of the common man. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Feminists act like male power has some sort of trickle down effect, that if some men have power, all other men also enjoy the privileges of having power. And they use this as a way to reinforce their misandry by claiming men don't deserve to be cared for because they have power.

Anyone who says that racism or sexism relates to social power is trying to explain to you why it's ok for them to be racist or sexist. That's why so many feminists are sexist bigots: they found a movement where their desire to hate is being justified and encouraged.
