Sad having to practice on a beautiful day (after playing in lousy conditions a lot) due to an ump shortage. I haven’t had an ump under 50 all year. This shortage won’t change until WE (coaches & fans) change our behavior. Kids want to play. We want them to play. Change for them.

Update as of 1:21: I should have just coached volleyball. A nice indoor sport..game vs Ottawa is back to Thursday due to no umpires available. Everyone should be nice to umpires. Or become one if you are knowledgeable of the game. Prime reason why.

Update as of 1:07pm on 4/29: Me again. Apparently we are now going to play Ottawa tomorrow at 4:30. So the beautiful day will not be wasted! Still looking to fill 5/9, 5/10 or 5/17 though if anyone is interested!
