On 12 October 2025, the Schengen states including Switzerland start the gradual introduction of the new Entry/Exit System (#EES). The system will digitally register entries and exits of third-country nationals across the #Schengen area.

🇨🇭 and 🇬🇷 have signed a migration agreement as part of its 2nd contribution to selected EU member states. State Secretary Vincenzo Mascioli travelled to Athens and Lesbos on 13 and 14 October, where he met Greek authorities & NGOs, and visited projects supported by 🇨🇭.
