Just attended an outstanding event at Lawn Manor Academy with Swindon Borough Council, Swindon City of Sanctuary, the Harbour Project and more discussing how Swindon can become a Borough of Sanctuary. A great welcome speech from Emma Bushell and powerful testimony from people who have come to the town.

I was very proud as a Swindon City of Sanctuary Trustee that Swindon Labour Councillors made the commitment to this. Very glad to see it being taken forward and the move to building a town where everybody belongs 🧡
