Thanks to the RED team from University of Bristol for not only supporting our research but also testing it! Super nice time. They escaped in 36:06! Second best time so far :) @FestivalofIdeas #FutureCity19
And the last group of the day escaped in an awesome time of 29 minutes and 17 seconds. Congratulations! They've been the second best time so far. Maybe the fact that some of them are doing/have done the MSc in Robotics helped? :P Featuring an actual FARSCOPER! FARSCOPE CDT
Congrats to Jennifer from Science and Industry Museum who fought against pollution (and rain, literally), and impressively escaped in 38:41 ON HER OWN! Glad to have you down here. Hope Swarm Escape! can be up there some day :) Thanks to Pippa Hough from Science Museum for the heads up too!
A huge thank you to everyone who made it happen: Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council University of Bristol Public Engagement @ Bristol Uni BristolRoboticsLab Sabine Hauert Daniel Carrillo-Zapata hauertlab @FestivalofIdeas, and all the people who came along to have a chat about the future of swarm robotics - TOGETHER. Next: let's take it on tour!
Sincere thanks for inviting Daniel Carrillo-Zapata and hosting Swarm Escape! at the VIII Jornadas de Teatro Científico Divulgativo last week (VIII Conference on Science Communication through Theatre). It was a real pleasure to play and engage on swarm robotics with you all ;)
Great to see Swarm Escape! (Swarm robotics escape room) and Daniel Carrillo-Zapata on tour! Gathering new ideas for swarm applications, here at #KFAS Festival. Learn more at swarmescape.org
Over 8000 people came to #KFAS Festival in #Kuwait last week. What a pleasure to have been there teaching about #robotswarms, and also learning from the public how we could use them in the real world. Sincere thanks to 1001 Inventions and KFAS for having Swarm Escape! (Swarm robotics escape room) and me!
