33 years ago today we had our baby Robert, taken by Anencephaly. I post to continue to raise awareness of this fatal Neural Tube Defect that can be prevented by taking folic acid before and in early pregnancy. Always remembered with love that we didn’t get to give💙

The message needs to go out across frontline NHS staff that suicidal patients who have mental capacity are *not* outside the scope of MH care or, if needed, the MH Act. This applies to patients presenting with self-harm, personality disorder, anorexia nervosa & many more.
