We get one chance to recognise First Nations people through a Voice.

And this referendum is it.

As a Ngunnawal elder, Aunty Violet knows the difference the Voice will make.

That’s why she’s asking us to walk with her.

And vote Yes on October 14th.

A class of grade four students at Harrison School wrote to ask what our government is doing on soft plastics recycling. So I took their letter to Environment Minister @Tanya_Plibersek

Looks like the AEU ACT aren't the only people who think there could be benefits to a 4-day work week! news.com.au/finance/work/a…

Thanks especially to Suzanne Orr and @jdaviscbr for boosting our submission online. Lots of people saw it, and we think it's work that deserves some attention.

We're not holding our breath for the ACT Government to implement a 4 day work week. However, we do think it’s good that the ACT Legislative Assembly are asking the big questions, and hearing from workers and their representatives.

Nursing and teaching are often put in the 'too hard' basket for a four-day work week. But unions say they could make it work, and there would be benefits for each sector ow.ly/JahR50LJfya

Nurses & teachers say a four-day working week would not only be possible in their industries but it could help attract skilled workers and reduce burnout. According to ANMF - Australian Nursing Midwifery Federation , reducing weekly hours would help with the feeling of burnout as a retention & attraction tool.

Being sworn in as the ACT’s first Finance Minister is a huge honour.

There’s no time to waste in getting started on delivering Labor’s plan for a better future. The work starts today.

It would be a blessing to have an NDIS that is easy to use and meets the needs of the many wonderful people it’s there to support.

Interesting point of view as a Legislative Assembly committee in the ACT is considering how the four-day week would, and could, work. Canberra Times. canberratimes.com.au/story/7666467/…

Today Andrew Barr, ACT Chief Minister confirmed additional funding will be provided to Meridian to provide support to the LGBTIQ+ community in the ACT.

The extra funding follows a request I made as a result of the Federal debate over the Religious Discrimination Bill.

Yeah Zed, I do support the ACT Govt decriminalising possession of small amounts of drugs - evidence shows criminal penalties don’t stop ppl using but makes it harder for them to get the help they need.

I also support the right of Territories to make their own laws…
