26 HGV's were stopped and dealt with today and advised.

Sussex Roads Police South East Coast Ambulance #A27 closed both ways between #B2123 ( #Falmer ) and #A27 7 ( #Lewes ) due to a serious collision involving a car.

Sussex Roads Police & South East Coast Ambulance are at scene, National Highways service providers en route.

Traffic in both directions is being diverted via local routes.

We currently have the A264 closed westbound between the Bewbush and Kilnwood Vale roundabouts due to flooding. This may impact Friday mornings commute with apologies.

#RPUD have been out today carrying out #OPLIMIT checks around the county. Unfortunately we ended up with arrests for drink and drug driving as well as vehicle seizures for uninsured & unlicensed drivers. Some who tried giving officers false details.

The driver of this vehicle was advised earlier this morning not to drive by officers in Brighton. They declined the free advice and were stopped just north of Lewes a little later. Having now blown double the drink drive limit its Ho Ho off to court you go. #oplimit .

The results are out for the Commercial vehicle unit stop on the M25 last night. The driver pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison. Disqualified for 162 weeks. £154 victim surcharge and £85 court cost.
