South Downs Beer & Cider 2019 Lewes Beer Festival Yet another successful South Downs Beer & Cider Festival held in the Old Corn & Hop Exchange, Lewes Town Hall in Lewes (1/6)

Local breweries took all the top places in the voting Beer of the Festival. The winner was Bedlam Amagansett APA followed by Harvey’s Old which tied for second place with Kissingate Powder Blue Porter. Holler Juicy Pale Ale & Heathen Black Eye PA also scored highly (2/6)

The local theme was carried on with Sussex cider producer Camrose’s Bish Bash Bosh being voted Cider of the Festival with Peter Mitchell Out of the Orchard Perry being the perry winner. (3/6)

As always a local charity was chosen to be the festival charity and this year we chose the Bevern Trust based in Barcombe and raised £341.60p from beer tokens and money collected. (4/6)
