The Ritual Landscapes of Murayghat season 2023 has started. Fieldschool and research into the EBI, taking students for the first tour of the site and removing back-fill University of Copenhagen

This week all 4 of our external examiners resigned in solidarity with my UofG Archaeology colleagues taking part in the UCU @UCUGlasgow Marking & Assessment Boycott. They are concerned - as am I - about hastily improvised assessment procedures to bypass the boycott #UCURising

The first step of the MEG-A Project is kicked off! The Swiss group is heading into the field for a second season of research on the megaliths of northern Lebanon! @Tara_Steimer and her team will excavate at @MenjezMunicipality to learn more about the dating of graves.

The 2024 season of The Ritual Landscapes of Murayghat has started with emptying the trench from last year.
