We met up with Association of Zambian Women in Mining this week to discuss what it is like to be a woman in the mining industry in Zambia today and were privileged to hear many stories and experiences from these courageous and resilient women.

Ahead of #IWD2024 and together with ZICTA, we’re thrilled to welcome the birth and #investment of an ICT hub in the heart of Central province to empower young girls — with the support of Irish Embassy Lusaka and Sweden in Zambia 🇸🇪

As part of the longstanding collaboration between Zambia Statistics Agency (ZamStats) and SCB, a training course was held in Kabwe to prepare for the 2024 Household Budget Survey!

This is a very important survey which hasn’t been done in Zambia since 2003.
