Oh my goodness. I am having to learn right there with everyone else. I send emails to students. Also I send good morning videos. I do a virtual DJ event every week. I am try to find new ways to interact with students. Please list more if you have any?!?! #VAESPChat

Many admin are stressed out & having sleepless nights. Just give your best & let your staff know you are all in this together. They don’t care if you don’t have all the answers or you’re not perfect. They actually prefer your support and encouragement now as much as anything.

I want a building where all students feel included and treated as equals. We want to try to break down the barriers #VAESPchat

A2)One of the most impactful things is have honest conversations Have conversations that need to be had but are not always easy with staff. For students, we want to make sure that ALL students are represented in the books that they are reading and that are available #VAESPchat

A3) Making sure I understand their point of view is different from my own. I need to listen and understand the difference and see how we can move together. I am always learning and growing. #VAESPchat

VDOE has a great start with the webinars. I would love this to continue. We need to all become ok with having the conversations to move forward. #VAESPchat
