Glad to be with you for some of the day V&A - churches are more than mere buildings. They are an indelible part of our past, our present and must be part of our future too!

An amazing sermon for Bible Sunday yesterday, read the Bible regularly, read it with others, read it out loud. A good way to start the week, open your Bible & just begin to read. Let the light of God's word shine on everything you do, say, think, feel today.

A prayer this morning for all who are waiting, all who are invested in the future & finding it hard not to see its exact definition through the mists. May the God of love and patience abide with you and hold you fast in the winding paths of life.

Today we reflect on the ultimate sacrifice made by members of our Armed Forces. Their commitment to protecting and serving our communities will forever be remembered with gratitude, and their legacy of courage continues to inspire us all. #WeWillRememberThem

As a small group we visited Sparkle in E. Putney yesterday. An intergenerational project, it shows Christ's love & the church's companionship to both the elderly & the young. It was an immense joy to be there, & to see two generations making crafts together whilst chatting.

What would the world be, once bereft Of wet and of wildness? Let them be left, O let them be left, wildness and wet; Long live the weeds and the wilderness yet. Inversnaid, Gerard Manley Hopkins

Good morning, Monday. Our prayers today are for all those dealing with change, its tempest & the silver linings to its clouds, the hard rain of being in the midst of change, & the promise of renewal that those rains bring. After the storm, the Son breaks through.

Looking forward to the Southwark Diocese Carbon Literacy programme tonight, & in preparation, I'm turning off lights & shutting doors. There are simple things we can do every day to reduce our impact on the earth. 'The inability to do everything does not mean we should do nothing'

All of our local ponds dried up over the summer, a distressing sign of fierce heat and low rainfall. The Church Dog (second in command) is pleased to report that mud is making a reappearance on our commons & in our woods
