Nice tips for visualizing CBD axis during #ERCP cannulation in VideoGIE Journal. Key concepts: ➡️Choosing correct angle for 1st touch w/cannula is important, but not enough. ➡️ Intraduodenal bile duct axis can be complex - imagine in 3d, then go slow & gentle. videogie.org/article/S2468-…

Great initiative! It’s not enough to just expect an individual to self isolate in a metropolis without recognizing potential socioeconomic barriers. Initiatives like this proactively help contain spread and aid the most vulnerable populations. #coronavirus

84 year old female with chf, copd on 2L oxygen, prior abdominal surgeries including abdominal wall mesh and adhesions, admitted with acute Cholecystitis. Not considered a good surgical candidate given need for large laparotomy and comorbidities. What would you offer?

Teaching Classic views of Eus from the various stations to our advanced endoscopy fellow Abhilash Perisetti (Abhi) - learn the foundations really well. Then you can harness the power of Eus for imaging and therapy. Also Note a book that’s a great read #eus #endoscopy #meded #medtwitter

“Classics in endoscopy” series Station 1 EUS. Some 🔑 points: 1- trace aorta and find first vessel (celiac) then next (sma) 2 follow celiac as it splits, see splint artery to find body/tail pancreas 3- even without very altered anatomy knowing the vessels helps you get oriented
