‼️CALL TO ACTION‼️

Join us this Friday (Jan 5th) and Sunday (Jan 7th) outside the Calgary Remand Centre, solidarity with Taylor McNallie ☕ as she heads in to begin her sentence and when she is released. Her last weekend served is in March and we plan to be there every weekend.

FINANCIAL AID UPDATE!!! Taylor is in urgent need of financial support after being quoted over $20,000 for the process of appealing the conviction for which she has been sentenced to 11 weekends in prison. This amount would include a “conviction appeal” and a “sentencing appeal”.

'In 2020, while facing 2 disciplinary hearings connected to the on-duty assaults on the 2 handcuffed men, Lindsay quit CPS, which meant he didn't have to go through the internal process.'

Another cop uses the quit escape hatch.

Same reason I wasnt allowed to register complaint about Chief Neufeld's explicit targeting of Taylor McNallie using his social media account.

Calgary Police harass and arrest an unhoused community member on Sunday, December 10th, while questioning their winter scarf (not a keffiyeh) and if they're involved in any of the protests for Palestine.

Those organizing, attending or criminalized at Palest*nian liberation marches can submit free 'name search audits' on their local police crime database.

Takes 10 minutes. Instructions for Calgary (adaptable elsewhere):

Despite Justice Peter Barley saying, “I accept that she <Taylor McNallie> did not set out to hit the other woman <Elena Cunningham>,” which means he understands that the “assault” done by Taylor was not intentional, Taylor has still been found guilty.
