We are delighted to announce Ancient House Museum of Thetford Life has secured major funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund Midlands & East The National Lottery Heritage Fund to refresh the way we tell the stories of the local area and the story of the Duleep Singh family in the museum given to the town by Prince Frederick Duleep Singh.

Quick update on this year’s Deep Clean Strangers' Hall. Thanks to a super team of volunteers everything from fragile Victorian lustres to humble plaited bed mats receives a careful conservation clean. Front window displays, featuring founder Leonard Bolingbroke, brush up nicely!
