Fantastic figure by @adamfinley.bsky.social of a multi-instrument view of the Sun with ESA's Solar Orbiter and SDO/AIA and STEREO-A! 😍 Really nice example of what can be done within the The SunPy Project ecosystem!
Coming to the SolarOrbiter8 workshop in Belfast in two weeks? We'll be there too - including as part of the Data Tutorial day on Friday 16th 🌞🚀 Looking forward to chatting about how The SunPy Project ecosystem can be used for ESA's Solar Orbiter observations
At the SolarOrbiter8 workshop in Belfast this week! Looking forward to the data analysis day on Friday where we'll look at how ESA's Solar Orbiter observations can be analysed within the SunPy ecosystem 🚀 We also have SunPy and NDCube stickers for attendees 🌞
Want to do STIX X-ray Telescope analysis in python?! come see my poster P101 on stixpy 🐍 #python #solarorbiter8
SolarMonitor 2 relies on existing community python projects. In particular The SunPy Project Map and submap are used to plot our full disk and AR cutout images.
Meet SolarMAP, a small python package to plot & return spacecraft HEE coords around the #sun powered by The SunPy Project. Just give it a date and objects and SolarMAP will do the rest. To install: "pip install solarmap " then import and just do "solarmap.help()"
Are you attending #AGU22? come and hear about the "The SunPy Project: Past, Present, and Future" given by Will Barnes today at 15:25 CST! SH45B-05 agu.confex.com/agu/fm22/meeti…
