Yesterday new exhibition opened at the Prehistory Information Center #NauravaLohikäärme (Laughing Dragon) at #Eura. The exhibition is called "Brides and matrons – Representations of Iron Age women" and I have designed it and taken the illustration photographs of #reenactors. 1/8

Florinin huvimajan tapettien konservoinnin jännittävimpiä vaiheita on taustattujen tapettivuotien ripustus niitä varten rakennetuille paneeleille. Taustapaneelin toisessa kerroksessa käytettiin vihreästä savesta ja gampi-kuidusta tehtyä paperia. #tapetit #konservointi 1/3

Kerrokset tasaavat kosteuden vaihteluita ja helpottavat tapettien käsittelyä ja huoltoa. Vuodat liisteröidään ja asemoidaan paikoilleen kehikolle. Tapetti painellaan varovasti kiinni paneeliin ja marginaalit käännetään reunan yli. 2/3

Valmis tapettipaneeli kuivatetaan hitaasti. Kevyesti kostunut tapetti pingottuu kuivuessaan suoraksi. Kuvissa länsiseinän tapetit ensin kuivumassa ja sitten valmiina. 3/3 #konservointi #ladamedulac #florininhuvimaja
