PLG is exceptional at getting many users to show up and start trying your product, typically for *free*

But donโ€™t get confused, if they donโ€™t pay you (a good amount, repeatedly) itโ€™s all vanity metrics

PLG doesnโ€™t = revenue, it feeds it
