The Harvest of the Month for March is avocados! Did you know that just 1/2 a cup of sliced avocados provides an excellent source of monosaturated fats (a healthier fat)? Monosaturated fats help to lower "bad" cholesterol (LDL) levels and can raise "good" cholesterol (HDL) levels.
