For anyone who follows the day job account and wondered why it was a bit quiet last week, I was having a week off, part of which was spent at Tewkesbury Medieval Festival re-enacting Dr William Hobbes, physician and surgeon to King Edward IV… Normal service resumes tomorrow!

Customer service at Amazon.co.uk… something which the words ‘customer’ & ‘service’ should be removed from… 😡 Managed to screw up delivery of an item 2 days on the trot despite multiple assurances to the contrary (assuming it’s actually been a human I’ve spoken to, not AI…)

Delay Repay on the rail network is a waste of time. I’m 15 minutes late on a CrossCountry Trains service (so can’t claim) into Peterborough, but miss my connection and therefore will be 45 minutes late home, after 11pm…
