Joyous scenes at Wellington again this morning as our wonderful Year 11s mirrored the achievements of their older counterparts last Thursday - best ever A levels followed by best ever GCSEs. 2024 will certainly go down as a vintage year!

Honoured this evening to be at John Rylands Research Institute and Library library celebrating the The Fed ‘My Voice’ project telling the stories of Holocaust survivors. Hearing from 100 yr old Marianne Philips who witnessed Kristallnacht first hand was very special.

Big thanks and well done to our very own Mr Gerschler who was there at the beginning and helped the The Fed get the project of the ground - he was deservedly name-checked by the speakers and Welly also got a mention from Andy Burnham. A memorable and humbling night!

Not a great deal of sleep was had on the overnight ferry from Portsmouth but the Y8s have arrived at their first visit - the British Memorial at Caen - in good spirits!
