ZS-X11H drivers can reach sufficiently high rpms which is the only thing I like about them. You may want to consider trying to create a close loop speed control algorithm for it using the speed pulse signal as the hall sensors are only used for commutation

I prefer using these hub motors from hoverboards for wheeled robots because they are not so expensive for the torque they produce compared to standard direct drive brushless motors and are "not so difficult" to control. Only downside is the encoder resolution

The bulk of robotics is about solving problems or creating work-aroundsπŸ₯². I rewrote the code more than six times just to solve these oscillations. The oscillations were as a result of things I thought didn't matter like buying clones e.g (Bno055) IMU.

See the bastard here πŸ₯². A clone bno055 IMU. Don't get me wrong, the original one by adafruit that uses Bosch component is very good. I went for BNO055 because it ouputs fused data at 100hz and I didn't want to bother myself with sensor fusion πŸ˜•.

Tadaaa!! πŸ™‚. Changed the IMU from bno055 to mpu6050, did the sensor fusion in code. Another culprit that caused oscillations was the high loop frequency (400hz). 1/400 = 2.5ms loop period .The odrive takes almost 2.5ms alone to return wheel velocity data

The stability is quite good 😊😊. Tbh honest, I never expected it to be this stable after suffering while tuning it πŸ₯²πŸ₯². Emmanuel Ekiomado trusted it enough to put his laptop on it πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚... Trust that even I that built it don't have πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚...
