For #Woodensday , the pulpit and screen in St Mary's, Dorchester, #Dorset is an absolute treat. Designed by the architect of the church, Charles Ponting, 1912 & 14 respectively. I'm not sure who did the work - need to check who he usually used - but it's exquisite #ArtsandCrafts

This one's my choice - I've loved this painting from when I first worked at Museum & Art Swindon #Swindon a thousand years ago. It speaks to me of living by a different sea, the Med, as I did even longer ago...

Yet again missed #WildflowerHour , drat! But after yesterday's pasque flower excitement, I have to note that today I saw the first early purple orchids on Rodborough Common, #Stroud , in my lunch break...

Well, that's the first time I've seen him in #stainedglass ! Winston Churchill stands above those who served in #WW2 , a #tinylion holds his V sign, John Bull holds 'god save the queen'. 1957 glass by George Cooper-Abbs, made by Wippell & Co. in Exmouth, #Devon . #StainedGlassSunday

We saw the door on Thursday, but here's the whole G H Fellowes Prynne tower at Exmouth, #Devon , for #SteepleSaturday . I believe, like at Long Melford, the architect encased the old tower with this new one.
