Officers working City of Culture are out and about in the city centre this afternoon. Have you noticed anything new to the side of our Police Station on Little Park Street? 👀

1. We officially unveiled the mural on Coventry Police Central Police Station today. The mural is the culmination of workshops with those with lived experience of homelessness. Big thanks to streetartstrategy Coventry BID WestMidsPCC Crisis Arts & Homelessness International @CllrDavidWelsh

3. The mural represents a new relationship between police & those homeless, how it needs to grow & be nurtured. It was funded by proceeds of crime. Everything learned is helping us & Coventry City Council shape future policy. We are committed to playing our part in ending homelessness
